Martin taught me to identify sources of stress and ways to manage it. Since I took his course, I realized that I’m a perfectionist and how I can get a lot more done if I tackle tasks without overthinking. I also learned how to identify negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones.

Thank you for the effort to make this event happen. I think it was a very good timing between this event and what has happened recently. I got to know about this event around two weeks ago, but by that time I haven’t thought I am going to use it. On Sunday, almost one week ago, late in the evening, a fire started down to the house where my friends were. It was easy to think for a moment that I lost them, and in fact was so close to that. It was relieving to see them all out of the house and safe. I see this program as way that God provided in the time of need.

Martin has given me good tools to deal with stressful areas of my life and get the right mindset. For example I used to have my bedroom full of many books and paperwork. But Martin showed the importance of letting the bedroom be a place where an atmosphere of rest is. When I enter my bedroom now there is a peaceful calmness and my mind is not distracted and stressed through many things lying around. I feel much better and happier in such an atmosphere.
